Outdoor Genocide Piece on View in Harrisonburg

If you are in downtown Harrisonburg, VA, go by the Smith House to see one of my sculptures installed in their front plaza. Currently on long-term loan as of June 2009, this Genocide Piece was one of the heart elements featured in the 1998 exhibition The Sight and Sound of Death: Genocide at the University of Virginia Art Museum in Charlottesville. For the Smith House/Arts Council of the Valley installation, a circle of red rocks was added to represent the blood of those who die in wars. More information at valleyarts.org/blog
