Wedding Table built by Robert Strini




My daughter Lucia Strini was just married and I built this wedding table for her. The image of her father holding the moon which is a convex mirror so she can say Goodnight Moon.
This is from a book of the same name that I read to her as a child. Fathers hold their daughters tight is from a war poem Lucia wrote when she was 14. All the black is 3/8 inch steel and the gold color is bronze. The blue tubing forms represent the night sky. 54 inches wide x 17 inches deep x 35 inches tall.

With God on Our Side, a new sculpture to be exhibited at Chroma Projects Art Laboratory in Charlottesville VA. opening July 1, 5:00-8:00



It seems like with God on our side we can do anything and have it justified. Look at war.
